About the role
Role Purpose
The Owner and Investor Reporting Specialist compiles and delivers accurate owner and investor statements on schedule, every reporting cycle, in the client's required format.
Core Responsibilities
Compile owner and investor statements from property management and accounting system data.
Verify the accuracy of income, expense and disbursement figures before distribution.
Format and deliver statements to owners and investors within agreed cycle deadlines.
Maintain reporting templates and adapt them to client-specific formatting requirements.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies raised by owners, investors or the client team.
Maintain a reporting calendar and escalate any risk of a missed deadline in advance.
Support ad hoc reporting requests from the client.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
Experience
One to three years of experience in financial reporting, accounts or property accounting.
Skills and Competencies
Strong numeracy and attention to detail.
Proficiency with property management or accounting software and advanced Excel.
Ability to consistently meet recurring reporting deadlines.
Clear written communication suited to owner- and investor-facing correspondence.
Key Working Relationships
Works daily with the Team Leader on reporting calendar status, with the client's finance team on figures, and with owners and investors directly on statement queries.
